Noah Gragson to drive multiple Xfinity, ARCA races for Rette Jones Racing

Rette Jones Racing announced Tuesday that Noah Gragson will run a part-time NASCAR Xfinity Series schedule for the team in 2024.

Gragson will pilot the No. 30 Ford, beginning with the BetMGM 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 25. In addition to running select races in the Xfinity Series, Gragson is scheduled to compete in two ARCA Menards Series races in 2024. His first ARCA Menards Series West race will come at Sonoma Raceway on June 7. His second appearance is slated for the ARCA Menards Series race at Watkins Glen International on Sept. 13.

“Having had strong runs in their Super Late Model at the grassroots level, I’m excited to partner with Rette Jones Racing as we take on the next challenge in the Xfinity Series,” Gragson said in a statement. “Terry, Lisa, Kasey, Mackie Jones and Mark Rette have played an instrumental role in my racing career and have become like family.

“I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity to compete in the Xfinity Series again and hope to pick up where we left off.

Gragson has 13 career wins in the Xfinity Series, his last coming at Homestead-Miami Speedway in October 2022. He finished second in the points standings that season. Gragson has five victories in ARCA Menards Series West.

“This is an important step for the overall long-term plans for Rette Jones Racing,” RJR co-owner Terry Jones said. “Noah has been instrumental in helping our Late Model program excel, but his presence thrives outside of the cockpit as he is instrumental in the growth and development of the other young drivers who funnel through our other motorsports programs.

“He is the perfect driver to launch our Xfinity Series program and we expect him to deliver strong results right away.”

Noah Gragson off to encouraging start with Stewart-Haas Racing

Gragson currently pilots the No. 10 Ford for Stewart-Haas Racing in the Cup Series. He has four top 10s this season, including a P6 finish in this past Sunday’s Würth 400 at Dover Motor Speedway. Gragson currently sits 21st in the points standings.

“I thought we qualified really well and then we kind of fell back there the first half of the race,” Gragson said after the race at Dover, via NBC Sports. “We got really lucky with that caution coming on the final green flag pit cycle, but the Miller Tech Mustang was good once we got some track position. It just took a little bit, but things fell our way and we were able to come home with a top-10 finish, finishing sixth. It wasn’t looking pretty there in the middle of the race, but I’m thankful things went our way and we were able to get that track position at the end.”
